Appetizer: Sardine Pâté

Appetizer: Sardine Pâté


Ingredients:

2 cans of sardines in oil (120g each)

4 oz of cream cheese (113g)

2 tbsp of lemon juice

2 tbsp of chopped fresh parsley (8g)

Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions:

Drain the sardines and place them in a mixing bowl.

Add the cream cheese, lemon juice, and chopped fresh parsley to the bowl, and use a fork to mash everything together until smooth.

Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.

Transfer the pâté to a serving dish.

Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld.

Serve with crackers or toasted baguette slices.
